A Day of Ordination and Celebration for Chris Sasser–Sunday, May 19:The elders have received, and enthusiastically affirm, Chris Sasser’s call to be ordained at Grace as a pastor. Come and celebrate God’s movement in Chris’s life as Grace thanks Chris and Karin and sends his family to grow the kingdom of God at Port City Community Church in Wilmington, NC.  On May 19, receptions will be held after both the 9:15 and 11:00 worship services; Chris’s ordination will be at 5:00 pm, with a reception in Room 119 afterwards; and a youth ministry celebration will be held at 7:00 pm.

Great Day of Service Coming on Saturday, May 18^th – Volunteer for a local service project and enjoy fellowship with other congregation members! Sign-ups are in the Atrium. You can sign up on your own or with your small group. Invite a friend to join you in serving!

Church Wide Picnic – Another GRACE ALIVE Event – Bring the whole family for a church-wide picnic on Saturday, June 1st at Spring Forest Road Park. (4203 Spring Forest Rd near East Millbrook Middle School) 5:00-8:00 p.m. Hamburgers, hot dogs and fixin’s provided. $5 per person; $10 max per family.
