Pre-Message Notes From the Weekly Gracevine

[for message May 7]
I’m so excited to conclude our series, “What Does God Want for Grace?” this Sunday.
In weeks 1 and 2, we looked at the prayers of Solomon and Paul. This week, we will look at one of the prayers of Jesus. In this prayer traditionally called “The High Priestly Prayer,” Jesus himself prayed specifically for us! We will examine what Jesus was asking for us in this great prayer and talk about what that means for Grace.
I can’t wait to see you on Sunday!

1 Kings 8:22-53; Luke 7: 36-50
We are in the middle of our new series “What Does God Want for Grace?” Last week we discussed the idea that more than anything, God wants us to know Him.
This week we will look at the prayer of dedication of the temple by Solomon found in 1 Kings 8 and see if we can’t find God’s heart for us in that prayer.
I’m looking forward to a great service! Hope to see you there!

In our new series beginning this Sunday, April 23, we will be answering the question: “What Does God Want for Grace?”
This is a new season for our church and we are all excited about what we believe God is going to do. But where do we think we are going and what sort of church do we believe God wants us to be?
This week we will begin to answer those questions by looking at a prayer of Paul found in Ephesians. We hope you will join us!
I’ll see you on Sunday!
