Grace Community Church has several thriving and meaningful partnerships with ministries that work across the border, overseas and throughout the world.
Faith Ministry – Just across the border from McAllen, Texas, in the colonias of Reynosa, Miguel Aleman and Naranjito, is third-world poverty. Many families live in wooden shacks that provide little or no protection from the elements.
Faith Ministry provides hope and a new life for these families — sturdy new houses constructed from cinder blocks, academic scholarships, a medical clinic, a feeding program for babies and children, and a thriving church.
Grace has partnered with Faith Ministry for many years and generally offers at least one mission trip each year to construct houses and build friendships.
Hearts and Hands for Haiti – Grace teams have partnered with groups from other Raleigh churches in traveling to the area of Gonaives, Haiti, to provide care to children and families in need. Hearts and Hands for Haiti offers opportunities for children and youth to develop physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually into mature Christian adults who can provide for themselves and their impoverished nation.
Stop Hunger Now is a Raleigh-based international hunger relief agency that has been fulfilling its commitment to end hunger for more than 15 years. Since 1998, the organization has coordinated the distribution of food and other lifesaving aid to children and families in countries all over the world. Grace sponsors two meal packing events each year. Please click here for more information about Stop Hunger Now packing events at Grace.
